valleyroots.tech ("we," "us") provides computer and tech support to Newberg, Dundee, and the Willamette Valley. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the services we rely on.
Information we collect
- Contact details you provide through our contact form or chat: your name, email, phone number, and the message or question you send.
- Booking details when you schedule a visit: the service, time, and the information you enter into the scheduling tool.
- Payment details when you pay: handled by our payment processor. We do not see or store your full card number.
How we use it
To respond to your questions, schedule and provide services, process payments, send booking confirmations and receipts, and keep records of work performed. We do not sell your information.
Service providers
We share only what is needed with the providers that run parts of our service:
- Cal.com — scheduling and calendar.
- Stripe — payment processing and memberships.
- Resend — sending our emails (confirmations, replies).
- Anthropic — powering the website chat assistant. Do not share sensitive personal information in chat.
- Fastmail — our email inbox.
Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. Embedded tools (scheduling, checkout) may set their own cookies.
Analytics and cookies
We do not use advertising trackers. The site uses only what is necessary to function, plus any cookies set by the embedded scheduling and checkout tools above.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed to provide services, meet legal and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. We take reasonable steps to protect it, though no method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information by emailing hello@valleyroots.tech. Our services are not directed to children.
Changes
We may update this policy; we will revise the date above when we do.
